Out With the Old #4, In With the New #4: Brett Favre to Eagles?

With #4 Kevin Kolb all but finished in the "city of brotherly love," it appears the Eagles will attempt to coax Brett Favre out of retirement yet again to backup Michael Vick for the 2011-2012 season. Here's the link to the original article:

I think this may be more wishful thinking on the part of the Eagles and their fans than anything else, but this would certainly consume much of the sports world for the entire preseason, if not longer. Even if Favre publicly says it is false, we all know how Favre's sagas work by now.

So why would Favre come back to the NFL especially as a backup? The lure of another championship could do the trick. Which, of course, eliminates the Eagle's chances of signing him.
